Dr. Kleiber is a native of Missouri and grew up in St. Louis. He went on to the University of Missouri for undergraduate education where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors. He continued his education by obtaining his medical degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.

Following medical school, Dr. Kleiber completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Dr. Kleiber then completed a prestigious fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Kleiber is the only board certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery currently in Mid-Missouri. His practice involves all facets of foot and ankle surgery in both adult and adolescent patients. He has special interests in hindfoot reconstruction, the treatment of ankle arthritis, including ankle replacement, sports related injuries, foot and ankle trauma and post traumatic correction. He prides himself on doing his best to make sure patients understand their condition and encourages them to take an active role in their medical decision making. He is well versed in all aspects of surgical and nonsurgical treatment.

Dr. Kleiber is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Dr. Kleiber’s foot and ankle service includes his certified Physician’s Assistant, Amy Sanders, RN, PA-C, Savanna Sandison, LPN and Jennifer Halterman, Administrative Assistant.

Dr. Kleiber and his wife, Allison, have two young sons. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, racquetball, and Missouri Tiger Athletics.
